Module 1, Good & Bad Perfectionism, begins with a discussion activity – concerning the advantages and disadvantages of perfectionism. Participants then complete self-assessment on two types of perfectionism: Perfectionistic Strivings and Perfectionistic Concerns. This module deepens our understanding of these healthy and unhealthy types of perfectionism, respectively. It includes an activity where participants identify beliefs and cognitive strategies that feed perfectionistic concerns.
